◆これから視覚障害者が観る世界とは

14歳の時に視力を失ったチエコ・アサカワは、それ以来視覚障害を持つ人々が自立した生活を送るための助けとなる技術の開発に尽力してきました。今では一般的になってきた電子書籍も、もともとは視覚障害者のための技術であったということです。また、デモ映像の中で、彼女は視覚障害者にとっての未来とも言うべき技術の紹介をします。障害のある人々が自立して生活できる未来は案外遠くないところまで来ているのかもしれません。
